The Wife of Gilbert

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning. We woke up early 7:00 a.m. Hubby boiled water and make his green tea while I got my hot chocolate with fried saba (banana). Then love ate rice with daing na bangus. Yummy and tasty coz it was marinated for overnight with garlic, vinegar, ground pepper, salt and the secret ingredient made with love. I’m happy now that he appreciated what I cook. Love went to work even on Sunday, supposed to Sunday is family day. It’s a job and he needed to work for us and our future. I pity for him coz waiting is his job. It’s a hard and stressful job, especially in his situation he has a high blood. Stress could trigger his hypertension. I asked Jengjeng a little girl our neighbor door to stay. My hubby ask for a kissed, Jeng replied “kadiri” he is 3 year old and knows that work maybe he doesn’t really know the meaning. I’m alone now, I cleaned the house and make some ice to sell. Promises promises are made to be broken. like pie crusts are made to be broken and like eggs are easily broken. promises are easy to say. but difficult to do many promises made, but none have done.. half the promises people say were never kept, were never made. one must have a good memory to be able to keep the promises that one makes. so when you love someone don’t expect anything because expectation hurt so you wont get hurt.

Gilbert and I agreed to buy a new laptop computer today and will meet at 8:00 p.m. at the HP store in Trinoma Mall. Good thing that my Sister has a friend, Janice working in HP Trinoma store. I asked her first if she is still there at around 8:00 p.m. but she will be out from work at 6:00 p.m. so we decided to do it tomorrow. Later on Janice informed me through text message that their promo for the HP Compaq laptop will end today so I called up Gilbert to his work to tell him what Janice told me after that all of a sudden Gilbert asked me to buy it alone, today. It’s already 3:30p.m. So, I quickly went to Glorietta Mall, to my husband’s work to get the money to buy for it before Janice will be out by 6 p.m. Whew, I got the new laptop, a P1,000 discount and a 2G USB flash disc, not bad. I went home immediately and waited for Gilbert to open and check everything. Gilbert was so excited. He went to sleep already late and I’m sure he’ll wake up early to use it before everybody else. lol. G

MANILA - Two of the country's top telecommunications firms assured their subscribers that they will be able to use their prepaid mobile phone credits for a longer time starting this Sunday. Smart Communications Inc. and Digital Telecommunications Philippines Inc. (Sun Cellular) said they will follow the new guideline set by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) regarding the extended shelf life of prepaid credits. The new rules, as detailed in memorandum circular 03-07-2009, were set to be implemented by all local mobile phone firms starting July 19 . The NTC said it will impose the necessary sanctions on any firm that fails to comply with the new guidelines. The two companies said the NTC ruling will cover all regular prepaid credits, including their load-sharing services or "pasa load."
